9 December 2005 Sarah Nixey goes solo
It has been a long time since the last new entry. Sarah Nixey goes solo and her debut single, "The Collector/Love And Exile", will be released on December 12 via iTunes, though it is already avaliable on TuneTribe. 8 June 2003 New single - The School
Song
Black Box Recorder will release The School Song on June 30 as their second
single from Passionoia. It will be released on 7" and CD
where both containing The School Song and a Stars On 45-esque adaptation
of the entire Passionoia album, and the CD also containing a live
performance of Lord Lucan Is Missing.

21 January 2003 More album, single
and appearance details
Black Box Record, who recently signed to One Little Indian Recordings and completed
work on their third album entitled Passionoia, will be performing
live at Metro in Oxford Street on January 30th. The band have now confirmed
release dates for their single These Are The Things on February 17th
and their astonishing new LP Passionoia on March 3rd. The tracklisting
of the album can be read from below.

Black Box Recorder have signed a new record deal and will release a new album
Passionoia in February 2003. The trio, featuring Luke Haines,
have signed to One Little Indian Recordings and have completed work on their
third album, the follow up to 2000's The Facts Of Life. A single,

US fans may have noticed that BBR releaed an album, The Worst Of Black Box
Recorder. It is a collection of b-sides and rare tracks, with four enhanced
videos and there is a previously unreleased track, Jackie Sixty. You
can check out the tracklisting in the discography
section.
22 April 2001 New editions for
Hong Kong releases
This news may not be revalent to foreign BBR fans, but it is an exciting news
for those in Hong Kong, because BBR's album The Facts Of Life
will be re-released (though not released via a local label before, there were
imported copies) in new format. According to ChiChung's Choice (a local
radio show, more details on the radio show, please check out http://www.chichungschoice.com),
the album will be releaed probably with new tracklisting, details to be confirmed
soon.

12 June 2000 New single details
BBR is going to release their second single taken from their second album, The
Facts Of Life. The new single, The Art Of Driving, will be released
on 3rd July. On CD1, a radio edit of the title track and a remix of The Facts
Of Life by Chocolata Layers (aka Jarvis Cocker and Steve Mackey), and a
cover of the David Bowie classic Rock'N'Roll Suicide. On CD2, the album
version of the title track, a BBR remix of Uptown Top Ranking and a radio
edit of The Facts Of Life with the enhanced CD video of The Facts
Of Life. And on the limited 7" (of 1500) will feature the radio edit
of The Art Of Driving on A-side with the Chocolate Layer's remix of The
Facts Of Life on B-side.

Nude Records has announced recently on her website that Black Box Recorder will

Black Box Recorder have left Chrysalis and signed to Nude Records, home of Suede.
The band, who play the Reading and Leeds festivals over the August Bank Holiday,
plan to release a single on Nude before the end of the year. They are currently
working on a new LP.
